Removing a client
It drops your access. It never deletes a customer.
The X on a client row removes your access to that workspace. This is why the button says "remove your access" rather than "delete client". Nothing here can delete a customer.
If you only want a client to stop answering the public, and might work with them again, use on hold instead. That one is reversible in a click; this one is not.
What survives
- Their workspace, their clones and their knowledge.
- Their login, unchanged.
- Their public pages and embeds, still answering.
- Their plan and their credits. Silently demoting somebody is a billing decision, not something that should happen as a side effect of you clicking Remove.
What changes for them
Your branding is stripped, so they stop wearing the brand of an agency they are no longer a client of. Billing, referrals and our support come back, because your support address is no longer the right place to send them.
You cannot add them back. Adding a client requires an address with no account, and theirs now has one. Removing access is not reversible from your side.
