    Templates: build the persona once

A frozen snapshot of a clone, copied into every client you add.

A template is a frozen copy of a clone's persona, guardrails and look, taken at the moment you save it. Go to Templates to make one.

    Frozen is the point

Improving the clone you took the snapshot from does not change the template. Without that, every improvement to your flagship would silently change what future clients received, and you would have no way to tell.

    What a template carries

    In the template

    • Who you are, tone and methodology
    • Greeting and sign-off
    • Starter prompts
    • The three conversation sliders
    • Guardrails, never-say and always-mention
    • Colours and theme

    Not in the template

    • Knowledge sources
    • The avatar photograph
    • Booking links
    • Anything from the client's own account

Knowledge is left out deliberately. It is the expensive half of setup and it is the half that has to be the client's own. The avatar is stripped because it is a picture of a specific person and has no business on somebody else's public page.

The empty Templates page reading No templates yet, with an explanation that saving a clone as a template means every client after that starts with its persona, guardrails and starter prompts in place, and that the copy is taken now and frozen so improving the original never changes it
What you see before you save the first one.

    Making one

    • Snapshot any finished clone you can reach, including one inside an existing client. A client you already got right is usually a better template than an internal draft.
    • Or start blank and write the persona from scratch in the editor.
    • Half-built clones are not offered, because they carry half a persona.

    Editing a template

Open a template to see and change what is actually inside it. You are editing the snapshot, never the clone it came from, so touching a template can never change a client's live product.

    Using one

Pick it in the Start from dropdown when you add a client, or apply it to an existing client from the Templates page. The copy is named after the client, not after the template, so nobody logs in to a clone called "Fitness Coach Template".

Templates live in your own workspace, so the same list is there whichever client you are working in.
