Choosing a template
What the four templates change, and why it matters less than you think.
The template is step one of the wizard. It sets your starting guardrails and some defaults. It does not lock anything in.
| Template | Choose it if | Starting guardrails |
|---|---|---|
| Coach | You coach people one to one or in groups | 3 |
| Course Creator | You sell or teach a course | 2 |
| Consultant | You advise businesses | 2 |
| Blank Template | None of the above fit | 0 |
If you are between two
Pick either. The difference is a handful of pre-set guardrails you can edit in thirty seconds on step four. People spend longer choosing than the choice is worth.
When to use Blank
Use Blank when your clone is not advising anyone: an FAQ bot for a product, an onboarding assistant, a research assistant for your own use. Blank starts with no guardrails, so set your own on step four.
