How to teach your clone a better answer, and why it beats uploading more.

The answer above is your clone behaving correctly. It was never taught a price, so it said so and offered a next step rather than inventing a number. That is the guardrail working. It is also a signal that pricing is worth teaching it.

Rewriting the answer

Clicking Improve this answer opens a panel with the question and the answer it gave. Edit the answer to what you would have said, then press Teach your clone.

It applies to similar questions, not just the exact wording. Teaching it your pricing answer once covers "what do you charge", "how much is it" and "what are your rates".

Why this beats uploading more

An upload gives your clone raw material and hopes it draws the right conclusion. A correction gives it the conclusion directly, in your words, attached to the question that triggers it.

It is also the only place you teach it your judgement rather than your information. A document can say what your programme includes. Only a correction can teach it who you would turn away.

Where corrections end up

The knowledge source list with columns for name, type, size and actions, showing a scraped website, an uploaded PDF, and an entry beginning Correction: how can I stop procrastinating, typed as a Q and A pair — A correction becomes a Q&A source, listed with everything else.

A correction is not stored somewhere separate. It becomes a Q&A source in your knowledge list, named "Correction: " and the question. You can find it later on the Knowledge step, edit it, or delete it like any other source.

That also means corrections count towards your source limit, though at a few hundred characters each you would need a great many before it mattered.

What to correct first

Anything about price, packages or what you offer
Answers that are technically right but not how you would put it
Anywhere it hedges when you would be direct, or is blunt when you would be careful
Questions where it recommends something you would not
Anywhere it says it does not know something you would happily answer

How many

Twenty good corrections is a different product from zero. Most people do none, which is why most clones sound generic.

Make it a habit

Correcting answers is the only place you teach your clone your judgement rather than your information. A document can say what your programme includes. Only a correction can teach it who you would turn away.

Set aside ten minutes after your first week of real conversations. Read what people actually asked, and correct the three worst answers. That single habit is worth more than any amount of extra uploading.
