A file will not upload
Size, format and scanned documents.

Check the basics
- PDF, DOCX and TXT are supported
- Ten megabytes per file
- You have not reached your source limit, which is 10 on Free and 500 on Pro
It uploaded but your clone knows nothing from it
Almost always a scanned PDF. A scan is a picture of words, so there is no text to extract. Convert it properly or paste the content in as Text.
The file is too big
Split it. Chapter-sized pieces also retrieve more accurately than one enormous document, so this often improves answers as well.
"We could not read that link"
Some sites block automated readers, and pages built entirely in JavaScript return nothing to read.
It is not worth retrying. Open the page, select the text you actually want, and add it as a Text source instead. You get a better result anyway, because you leave out the navigation and the cookie banner.
LinkedIn fails more often than ordinary websites do. If a LinkedIn import will not go through, copy your About section and headline into a Text source rather than fighting it.
Adding YouTube videos
Add videos one at a time by pasting the URL of each. That is the reliable way to bring a set of videos in.
