    How to connect Personify to Zapier

    Everything happens inside Zapier apart from creating your key.

    1. 1In Zapier, create a workflow and choose Personify as the trigger app.
    2. 2Pick a trigger: New Lead or Conversation Ended.
    3. 3Connect your account. Create an API key on your Integrations page in the Personify dashboard (open Zapier, then press Create key) and paste it into Zapier.
    4. 4Choose which clone the workflow should watch. One workflow watches one clone.
    5. 5Test the trigger. Zapier pulls a few of your recent real leads or conversations so you can map the fields.
    6. 6Add the app you want the data sent to, map the fields, and turn the workflow on.

    What gets sent

    New Lead

    The email address and name the visitor gave, which clone captured them, the lead's outcome, the page they came from, UTM source, medium and campaign, and when the lead was saved.

    Conversation Ended

    Which clone held the conversation, when it started and ended, how many messages it had, how long it lasted, any lead captured in it, and the transcript.

    Good to know

    • Personify sends data to Zapier. There are no actions yet, so a workflow cannot change your clones.
    • A conversation counts as ended about 30 minutes after its last message.
    • One workflow watches one clone. A workspace can have up to 25 connections in total.
    • Transcripts are capped at 200 messages or 65,536 characters, and 4,000 characters per message.
    • Zapier currently lists Personify as Beta.

    Does Personify work with Zapier?

    Yes. Personify is listed on Zapier with two instant triggers: New Lead and Conversation Ended. You can send leads and finished conversations from your AI clone to any of the 9,000+ apps Zapier connects to.

    What can the Personify Zapier integration do?

    It sends data out of Personify. New Lead fires when your clone captures a lead. Conversation Ended fires about 30 minutes after the last message of a conversation, with the transcript. There are no actions yet, so a workflow cannot change your clones, their settings or their knowledge.

    Where do I get my API key?

    Create an API key on your Integrations page in the Personify dashboard: open Zapier, then press Create key. The key is shown once, so paste it into Zapier straight away. If you lose it, create a new one and revoke the old one.

    Why does the listing say Beta?

    Zapier currently lists Personify as Beta. Both triggers are available to use now.

    Can one workflow watch all my clones?

    No. Each workflow watches one clone. To send leads from two clones, set up two workflows. A workspace can have up to 25 of these connections across all its clones.

    Do I need to code?

    No. Everything is set up inside Zapier. If you are a developer building your own connection instead, the API reference covers the same two events.
